FACTS
 Ari Sol Jessen was born on April 5, 1988 in Copenhagen, Denmark. If asked though she won't even bother mentioning Copenhagen, she'll say she was born in "Fristaden" (also known as Christiania- a partially self-governing neighborhood in the borough of Christianshavn in the Danish capital Copenhagen.)
Her parents were a part of the beginning of the hippie movement in Christiania during the 70s. And till this day very much live the hippie life style; they're all about free love, still listen to 'psychedelic rock' and won't hesitate to light up whenever the mood strikes them. Which is probably why her father has been arrested for possession twice since moving to New York.
Her parents never had prenatal care and believed that if they said "let there be boy" to the belly, the belly would obey. In their various stages of high they discussed what they'd name their son and decided on the name Ari. Needless to say when their son was born and lacked certain parts they thought the universe was thrown out of whack by a massive cosmic event... but named her Ari either way, she was given the middle name "Sol" which means 'Sun' to pay homage to said cosmic event.
Contrary to popular belief she does not do drugs, she may have smoked weed once or twice but she was fourteen and didn't see what the point in it was. She got the same euphoric feeling whenever she listened to a Janis Jopin record... and didn't have to spend any money to do so or deal with the annoying paranoia that usually follows.
If Edgar Allen Poe had been alive in the present day she would have married him, it's what she says. She can recite every single one of his poems off the top of her head.
Is a street performer and could never see herself getting a regular 9-5 job. She doesn't have one steady act; one day she'll recite the Tell Tale Heart and the very next day she'll come out with her guitar.
Speaks several languages... almost; Danish, English a little bit of German and a language she 'made up' when she was younger while playing with her imaginary friends which she still speaks when trying to confuse people... which is her just muttering rubbish she's heard gypsies say. Spanish. Some Italian. A few Greek words (which aren't very nice at all) and some Portuguese.
Has been known to leave the bucket of money she collects while performing behind after playing a song. She also randomly joins other street performers to 'complete their act' ala Jack Black in Pick of Destiny which usually results in the most amazingly random spectacle in the world.
She lived in her parents' 1 bedroom loft, they slept in the bedroom and she crashed on the sofa. They didn't mind her being there and she got a place to sleep and free food... and sometimes even money when she needed it though she didn't like asking them for it. She has since then moved into her own place after walking in on her parents one too many times.
Intends to go to University someday, just not any where in the near future. Before she surrenders her free will to be brainwashed by societies idea of a proper education she intends to travel to India, disassemble the Taj Mahal... and reassemble it, a task she is positive she will achieve.
After being told the walls were too plain Ari purchased a can of blue paint and threw it on the wall to give it a bit of character. Soon after her mother decided what the wall really needed was a bit of Van Gogh and she recruited her daughter to help her paint "The Starry Night."
Attends Air Guitar competitions, not as a competitor but as a spectator. Most of the time she's there is spent laughing at the dumbasses on stage but every once in a while there is a true gem that stands out in the crowd. That gem is named Ochi Dainoji Yosuke, she loves him and yes, this love is unrequited. Ari also appears to be an unfaithful lover seeing as how she is infatuated with C. Diddy... and his pants.

Dislikes: Pens, the period between December and April when the trees are bare, the fact that opening CDs takes longer than listening to the actual album, DVD wrappers, romantic comedies, llamas, pillow creases on her cheek, Wilson the volleyball, Suri Cruise.
